A brief introduction to the airport

Jerez Airport is in western Andalucia, just 8kms north east of the capital of sherry, Jerez de la Frontera. However, the city is often referred to simply as Jerez. And if you want to sound a little more like the locals, you should pronounce it like ‘he-reth‘… Got that? Great!

It’s a fairly small and modern airport and is easy to get around. Both the departures and arrivals areas are on the one floor. In terms of travel onwards after flying into the airport, Jerez Airport is conveniently located by the A-4 motorway that goes between Cadiz, Seville and all the way up to Madrid.

Collecting a Jerez Airport car hire: What suppliers are here?

For such a small airport, you’re pretty spoilt for choice in terms of on-airport car hire! The suppliers with an on-airport desk in the terminal include: Avis–Budget, Enterprise–Alamo, Europcar, Hertz–Thrifty, Firefly, Sixt, Goldcar and Flizzr.

All the desks are in the Baggage Reclaim. They also have two windows so face out into the Arrivals Hall as well as Baggage Reclaim.

Onto the car park

Once you’ve got your keys, use the closest exit to head outside. You’ll find your car in the main car park directly opposite the airport terminal. Car rentals are parked on the right hand side of the car park and are fairly easy to spot. Europcar also have a cabin out here so you don’t have to go far if you have a question or problem.
