However, a trip to England isn’t complete without a trip outside of the Capital. London is your gateway to the south. You can feel like you’ve stepped into a period drama with a visit to grand estates such as Hampton Court Palace. Head to the coast and say hello to France from the White Cliffs of Dover and/or explore England’s garden in Kent. There is also the chance to soak up the splendour of other historic cities like Cambidge and Oxford as well as quaint towns where a lovely pub is never that far away.

Kent is more famous for its green countryside scenery (it is the Garden of England after all) but make sure you drive over to Dungeness for sights with a little more mystery.
