Collecting a car hire at Madrid Airport T1, T2 & T3 | DriveSpain

Madrid Airport has five terminals and is spread across two sites, about 5kms apart. Car hire desks are located in terminals T1 and T4. Booking a Madrid Airport car hire: which terminal?

Still need to book a Madrid Airport car hire? DO make sure you book it for the right terminal! So if you’re flying into T1, T2 or T3, you should book a car hire at Madrid Airport T1. But if you’re flying into T4, you should book a car hire at Madrid Airport T4.

Collecting a car hire at Madrid Airport T1

Madrid Airport T1: Arrivals Hall

There are six car hire desks at Madrid Airport T1 with affiliated brands sharing a desk. You’ll find them all in the Arrivals Hall on the ground floor level.

On-airport suppliers at the airport include the following:

  • Europcar-InterRent-Keddy
  • Goldcar-Rhodium
  • Hertz-Thrifty-Firefly
  • Sixt

If you’ve arrived at T2 or T3, follow signs to T1 Arrivals (Llegadas). You’ll also see a blue symbol for car rental on signs too, which you should look out for. Below are pictures of some of the car hire desks in T1…

Car Rental Parking

All car rentals are parked in the P1 car park, which is part of the main car park, across the road from Madrid Airport T1. Each of the suppliers here have a cabin out in the car park so if you have any questions or problems with your car, you should be able to find a member of staff in the car park to help.

Off-airport Madrid Airport car hire

A number of suppliers also offer Madrid Airport car hire but they have offices ‘off-airport’. This means they’re a short drive away but they generally offer a free shuttle service to take customers between the airport and their office. Suppliers with an off-airport location here include Centauro and Dickmanns.
