Collecting a Seville Airport car hire | Travel Blog | DriveSpain.com

If you’re flying into Seville Airport and planning to explore the city and surrounding area with a car, the airport is a good location to pick up a car rental. As you can see from the picture above, Seville is locally known as Sevilla (and as in Spanish, the double ‘L’ sounds more like a ‘Y’ so it sounds more like Sevi-ya). And at the airport, you’ll find a good selection of car hire suppliers that include big name and low-cost brands. Keep on reading for our guide to collecting a Seville Airport car hire.

And if you’re dropping your rental off here too, read our guide to returning a car hire to Seville Airport.

On-site car hire at Seville Airport

Seville Airport has a good choice of well-known car hire companies in a prime position in the arrivals hall. They include AvisEuropcarEnterprise (they also service Alamo car hires), Hertz and SixtFirefly car rental are also on-site but not actually within the building. Instead, Firefly have a cabin, which you’ll find in the rent-a-car parking area across from the terminal building.

Once you’ve come through passport control and baggage reclaim, you’ll enter the arrivals hall. Seville Airport car hire desks are straight on and on your right. You’ll past the tourist information and hotel information desks on your left before spotting them…

Europcar and Hertz car rental

These two desks come up first.

If you’ve got an Alamo car hire, you’ll need the Europcar desk.

P1 parking for car rentals

Once you’ve got your keys and sorted out the paperwork, head out of the airport and cross the road. Cars are parked within the main car park (P1) opposite the airport terminal. If you exit using the doors close to the car hire desks, you should find yourself on the right side of the car park for car rentals already, which is handy! Sixt also has a cabin here in the car park as does Firefly already mentioned.

In addition to their desk inside the airport, Sixt has a cabin in the car park

For Firefly rentals, you need to head to the car park where you’ll find their cabin

Firefly Car Rental may seem like a relatively new name on the scene but have actually been around for years in the form of Advantage. Firefly is a low-cost brand and is a subsidiary of Hertz. This is possibly how the company managed to get a slot in the main car park… The cabin is where Hertz car hires are parked.

The columns between bays are plastered with the relevant car hire company’s logo as well as the section letter to help you find your car hire you need. Bay numbers are above the car space.
