Menorca Airport is the main gateway to Menorca, the smallest of the main Balearic Islands. The airport is located a few kilometres from the capital, Mahon, in the southeast part of the island. Menorca is generally quieter than its sister islands, Ibiza and Mallorca. So if you’re looking for a more peaceful and low-key beach break, then Menorca’s the Balearic island for you. And whilst it’s quieter, it’s no less beautiful. Mahon and Ciutadella on the other side of the island are the city highlights. Many visitors, however, choose to stay at one of the island’s many beach resorts, which include Arenal d’en Castell, Son Bou, Cala Galdana and Cala en Blanes. For nature lovers, a trip to S’Albufera d’es Grau Natural Park is a must. Located north of Mahon, the park features lovely beaches and a stunning lagoon.
