Alicante Travel
Alicante is the gateway to the Costa Blanca. This popular stretch of coast features beach resorts including Benidorm, Torrevieja and Javea.
Although most people go straight from Alicante Airport to one of the beach resorts, Alicante itself is a great city to visit. It’s the second biggest city in the Valencian Community. A big highlight is the Santa Barbara Castle, which offers stunning views from the top of Benacantil Mountain. It’s easy to do too as it’s located right in the city centre. The city also has a picturesque seafront, plenty of shopping opportunities and several great museums.
