Liege is well known for it's folk festivals.... The most famous one is "Le 15 août", on the 15th of August. The locals gathers in the Outre-Meuse quarter to drink beer, eat cabbage, sausages or pancakes. Some simply enjoy the vibe until the early hours.
Don't miss the area which is called Le Carré. Here you can find many pubs that remain open untill the last customer leaves.
